Date night

We all know the stress of trying to figure out what to wear for a date.
How do I wear my hair? What make up shall i wear?

It's more stress full trying to sort out the way we want to look, than it is going on the actual date!!

Well... it all depends on where you're going, out for dinner, to the movies or just for a coffee. They all have different ways you should dress. You wouldn't go for a coffee wearing what you would wear on a night out - Or, would you?!

Coffee or laid back date

If you're going on a date like this, you don't want to go too over the top. Keep it natural and smart but casual. Wear something you feel comfortable in so you feel more relaxed.

Depending on the weather team with a light floaty cardigan or a black leather jacket.

If your being wined and dined on your date, then you will want something a bit more dressed up.... A nice dress and heels or even a fancy jumpsuit.

Bardot dress

If your not sure where you're being taken, opt for something in between, a little bit dressy but still smart and casual.

Open shoulder dress

If in doubt, flats are always a good option, they are comfy and with so many cute styles to compliment your outfit... You will find something for you.

Whats the most memorable date you've ever been on?

UK holiday guide

It is officially summer! Not that we can tell with all the rain we seem to be having. So whilst everyone is talking about jetting off abroad to chase the sun im going to give you some fab ideas of places to go and things to do in the good old UK.

When i was younger we always used to do a big family holiday in the summer where everyone would meet up at the place we were staying and spend the week altogether.
Cornwall is a brilliant place to go on holiday because its much warmer than the rest of the country and has some gorgeous views and beaches.

Fancy a grown up weekend London with loads of things to keep you busy.
London has pretty much everything on offer, fancy restaurants, sights to see, shopping and much more.

Remember Butlins and Haven caravan holidays? Well they are still around and are a great idea for families with a smaller holiday budget. They offer kids clubs and lots of entertainment on the park, plus you can explore the little towns, villages and beaches of site. Some even offer glamping!

There are loads of great things to do without traveling abroad that will still feel like a getaway. With the added bonus of Scotland and Wales only a short distance away you will be able to find somewhere you fancy going.

Favorites in June

Its nearly the end of June already! Where has this year gone? I have decided to share with you some of my favorite things I've been enjoying this month.

My first favorite is a food item! Kallo chocolate rice cakes! They are healthy and chocolate so i don't feel as guilty when i eat them all in one sitting! They come with either milk or dark chocolate on the top so if want an extra special treat id recommend the dark.

Another thing that has been by my side constantly this month is my portable power bank. If your on your phone a lot though out the day you need to get one of these. charge your phone whilst on the go! They have some really pretty ones available now too!
This lovely floral one is from Cath Kidston and is small enough to just chuck in your handbag!

Now i am a big fan of doing my eyebrows and i really enjoy using the powder products. I have tried using some of the more expensive gels and pencils but always end up going back to the powders. My favorite by far is the seventeen brows that brow kit. its so affordable at only £6 from boots!

Unfortunately here in Britain summer almost guarantees that it will rain at least every couple of days. So my next favorite is my umbrella from love umbrellas. I have a hot pink sparkle umbrella and its fab, it brightens up those dreary days.

My final favorite is a pair of shoes that i have worn to death this month. i got them from public desire and they are so comfy and on trend with a lace up design. They go with absolutely everything and are available in black and nude faux suede and in black faux leather.

I hope you liked this months favorites!

Last minute fathers day gift guide

Its fathers day tomorrow and how many of us have left it until today to get our dads a gift? I know i have.
Picking a present for dad is difficult so here is a little last minute gift guide.

If your getting a gift from a little one:
Keep it fun and young so it feels like its from the little ones.

From older children/teenagers;
They aren't little but they're not grown up, they don't want to send anything childish but we cant let them send anything to grown up.

From the grown ups;
Trying to get dad something when your both adults is a hard decision so why not have a look at these.

These are just a couple of ideas to help you decide what to get dad this weekend.

Happy fathers day to all dads, granddads and step dads!

Festival guide

Festival season is here!!
Which means good music, amazing friends and very muddy fields.
If you're heading to a festival this year make sure you read on to find out the essentials.

What to wear...

Most of the festivals in the UK are in the summer so it will probably be quite warm, but it rains A LOT so make sure you've got some waterproofs and wellies. At night it still gets pretty chilly so be sure to have hoodies and warmer clothing for the night.

Sleeping...

If you're staying over at the festivals you need to have these essentials. Make it a comfy place you can retreat to after a long day of dancing and having fun. An airbed with a couple of duvets and pillows and cuddle up with your besties to keep warm.

Accessories

If you have your phone with you and other personal items invest in a bum bag, they have soared back into fashion and will stop you loosing your important stuff.

Earplugs to drown out the noise at night, some people just don't sleep at festivals so if you still want to catch your beauty sleep, you will need a pair.

Socks and lots of them! If it rains your socks are not going to last the day.... No one wants trench foot from wearing wet socks all day!

Its the UK so we all know it will probably rain. So make sure you've got a fab umbrella to keep dry.

Most importantly keep safe and have fun!

Travel Essentials

Travelling is usually stressful and tiring, so here are a few of my most important travel essentials to make your journeys that little bit easier.

Whether you're going a girl's holiday or taking the kids away in the summer, there are couple of items that you just can't do without.

Firstly, entertainment!
If its a long flight or drive you will get bored quickly so make sure you have something to do.

Pack a tablet with some films and music loaded on (don't forget headphones!). This way you can access books, films, the internet and everything else all in one place. Download lots of games and entertain the little ones too.

Food! We all need to eat and the same goes for travelling, especially when its a long journey and you don't want to keep stopping every time you're hungry. Snacks that don't need to be eaten hot or cold are the best like chocolate and dried fruit.

Neck pillows are great if you know you're going to be having a sleep on your travels.

The Snugpak butterfly neck pillow is fantastic for traveling as it deflates to fit into your bag!

A portable charger is a must have for any journey, keep your phone charged and your laptop or tablet.

A travel wallet is another essential, keep all your tickets and id all safe in one place! no having to dig out your passport from the bottom of your bag.

Rendezvous travel wallet

Baby wipes! These are great for everything even if you don't have children. Use them to clean up spills, wipe your face after a flight even use them if you haven't been able to use a shower for a little while. Plus they are really inexpensive at less than a £1 a packet.

Make sure you stock up on these before you go travelling! What are your travel essentials?

Euro 2016 survival guide

Non football fans listen up... The Euros are starting and we have some top tips on how to get through it.

1. Get out of the house!
If you can try and get out when the matches are on, but avoid bars and pubs that show the football or you will end up in the thick of it.
!
Why not get a group of fellow non football fans and go for a nice meal or to someone's house and have a quiet night in.

2. Learn everything there is to know about the matches.
This one is more of a last resort if you can't make any other plans or if you've been dragged to watch it!
The dreaded offside rule is the most confusing thing I've ever had to understand so I took the liberty of googling a picture that might make it easier to understand.

3. Make the most of the deals.
One of the perks of the football is that loads of food and drinks are on offer. just some of the deals include.
asda

3. Just hold out until it finishes, its going to be talked about whether we like it or not, so we might as well just put up with it for the couple of weeks it is on for, its only every 4 years so it could be worse!

Who are you rooting to win?
